Day 1 - Challenge Recap

Yesterday, a few clients from the Academy went live with me to get started on the booked-calls Loom challenge.

We covered the basics of sending these outreach messages and I gave them my proven framework to email the prospects, film the video, send it to them, and follow up with them after…

All leading to a qualified booked call.

And then repeat it 9 more times for that day.

Part 1:

One challenge a member went through was getting the clients to respond.

I told him

  1. It’s a numbers game. Don’t get caught up on 1 lead when you can reach out to 30 more

  2. People are busy. Show empathy and send them some value to trust why they should listen to you

  3. Create better curiosity in your subject lines that get them to open and read.

For example, his subject line said “Rev up your sales” which didn’t give any info as to what he was doing.

We fixed it to “Collect an extra 10k-15k/mo with your email list” which tells me exactly what you can help with and allows me to simulate it. Now I’m curious to read it.

Part 2:

We’re sending them a Loom (screen recording) to point out a few things they can do better on their marketing systems/social media/ websites etc. to:

  1. Grab their attention

  2. Raise a concern that something needs fixing

  3. Build trust before getting on the call

When sending the Loom, “What do I send them?” you might ask.

We broke it down like this:

  1. Intro who you are

  2. Show 1-3 things they should change/improve

  3. CTA about helping them fix it

And then email them about it. Repeat 9 more times today.
